If you are a sports club or activity provider working with Children or Adults this is where you should start with your basic training and introduction to Safeguarding. If you are a Sports club your NGB may have an equivalent Sports Specific Introduction to Safeguarding Course.

Safeguarding & Protecting Children
Delivered by UK Coaching in partnership with NSPCC, Child Protection in Sport Unit and Sport England, endorsed by CIMSPA.
This newly updated Online Classroom will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse, and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately, and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.
The course has been awarded 2 CPD points by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
The course costs £33 per person, please note this version of the Course is for over 18’s only.
Safeguarding & Protecting Children 16 – 18
Delivered by UK Coaching in partnership with NSPCC, Child Protection in Sport Unit and Childline.
After this course you will be able to:
- Identify and recognise good practice and the implications for your coaching
- Recognise the duty of care you have for the welfare of players/participants
- Take appropriate actions if you have concerns about a child (or an adult)
The course costs £33 per person.
This online classroom is for young coaches aged 16-18 years old only.
Safeguarding Adults
Delivered by UK Coaching in partnership with Ann Craft Trust. This course has been Endorsed by CIMSPA against their Safeguarding Adults and Adults at Risk Technical Specialism and has been awarded 3 CPD points.
Safeguarding adults is everyone’s responsibility.
This course is suitable for everyone who delivers coaching in clubs, community sports and physical activity, such as coaches, activators, sports administrators, front of house staff and volunteers.
The cost of this course is £16.99 per person.

Keeping Deaf and Disabled Children Safe in Sport (E-learning)
Delivered by UK Coaching in partnership with the NSPCC’s Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU).
Online learning offers you the opportunity to learn by doing, making online decisions based on real-life stories and scenarios of disabled children in sports so that you can see the consequences of those decisions in a safe environment. Cost per person £16.99

Adults
The Ann Craft Trust, provide all levels of training for Safeguarding adults in sport and has a mix of online learning and blended programmes.
