Storytelling Event

VENUE UPDATE:

In light of the unpredictable weather/ temperature we’ve decided to move the event to Chatteris Town Football Club which is very near to the pocket park at: Chatteris Town FC, West St, Chatteris, PE16 6HW

As part of Cambridgeshire County Council’s Festival of Stories, Living Sport together with the Friends of Little Acre Fen Pocket Park in Chatteris invites children under 5 with their families to attend an outdoor bee themed storytelling session on 8th March. The event will be open from 10am until 11.30am with the well-known story teller, Marion Leeper storytelling at 10.45 and a variety of activities (dancing, bug hunting, kite making) to drop into before and after. A huge thank you to Cambridgeshire County Council for making this possible.

Please feel free to bring a picnic and stay after the event. Water and squash will be provided. Please note that this is an outdoor event with little shelter so please dress accordingly (in very extreme weather please check the event is still on before travelling). There are no toilets/ facilities on site.

Please note, parents/carers are expected to stay and will be responsible for their children -the site is open to the public.

If you have particular access needs please contact us for more information.

There is no charge but we require pre-registration using the form below as we have a limited number of packs to give away (1 per family with a bee themed activity book and other goodies!)

We can’t wait to meet you!

Thanks to Chatteris Town Council who created the Pocket Park and Friends of Little Acre Fen Pocket Park who help maintain and develop it and to Cambridgeshire County Council.
