  • Community groups and organisations e.g. housing associations, youth groups and holiday clubs etc.
  • Disability organisations and individuals supporting disabled people and people with long term health conditions e.g. Disabled People’s organisations, support workers, physiotherapists and occupational therapists etc.
  • Education sector e.g. teachers, teaching assistants, lecturers, young leaders and external activity providers.

There are now two ways to access the programme:

  1. Purchase just the eLearning module separately at a cost of £15 per person (bulk buy discount available for organisations).
  2. Or access the eLearning module and in person workshop with resources for £40 per person (£640 per course for organisation booking 16 people on a closed course)

The eLearning module is a great introduction for those wanting to learn about playing sports and physical activity inclusive for everyone.

In the eLearning module, learners will:

  • Understand the benefits of being active and recognise potential participation barriers for disabled people.
  • Develop an understanding of different inclusive approaches, including Activity Alliance’s Ten Principles, the Activity Inclusion Model and STEP Tool
  • Learn about the importance of inclusive communication.
  • Receive an interactive online workbook to support their learning.

The module takes approximately 1 hour to complete and upon completion, learners will achieve 0.5 CIMSPA point (please note: the eLearning content alone does not fully align to the CIMSPA Working Inclusively (working with disabled people) Population Standard).

To ensure this training opportunity is accessible to as many people as possible, it includes voice-over, video captions and screen reader accessibility features.
