Griffin Archers is an Archery GB-affiliated and trained Community Archery Club which started in 2016. It was found by John, a Master Bowman in his young days who has been involved in Archery for the last 45 years.
Their ethos states: “Archery For all, everyone can be an archer”
The plan and suggestions are transparent to members due to the voluntary nature of the club. Membership options are diverse and cater to different skill levels and interests. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced archer aiming for competition, the club is for everyone!
Griffin Archers states,

This indicates that no matter who you are, what age, gender, experience, or ability, Griffin Archers will see you as an archer. Griffin Archers are passionate about the fact that everyone is equal and welcome, regardless whether they’re a senoir, have special physical or educational needs, or hidden disabilities. To create a community and family atmosphere among its members, they hold social gatherings, workshops, and team-building activities, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
Not only do they encourage coaching and support, but they also provide top-quality equipment with well-maintained ranges and equipment. They provide a safe and comfortable environment for archers to practice and sharpen their skills. The experienced coaches are passionate about archery and dedicated to assisting members in achieving their full potential.
They offer personalised training and guidance, ensuring that each member receives the attention they need to improve.
In addition to regular practice sessions, the club organizes various events and competitions throughout the year. This gives members the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against archers from other clubs. It’s a great way to challenge yourself, meet fellow archery enthusiasts, and have fun!
Living Sport has had the opportunity to visit and experience one of the Archer Griffins sessions on a Sunday and feel the community-like connection between members confirming all that has been said.
