Future Scooters put on two free fun scooter sessions in Cambourne and Wisbech over the May half term to provide a free and fun activity for children and young people to come and join in with over the school holidays.
Future Scooters partnered with Living sport over the May half term and to set up two fun session days in Cambourne and Wisbech so that the children and young people in the two local communities could come along to the skatepark and join in with some fun and FREE scooting activities. Future Scooters came along to the skateparks and set up and amazing day of activities including demos, games, coaching and fun competitions with some cool prizes to be won.

Future Scooters are a provider for living sport and they work within communities to teach children and young people how to skate fun and safely whilst learning new tricks and skills to boost their scooting abilities. All their coaches are very skilled with at least 10 years experience in scooting and coaching which is part of the amazing service they provide. “At Future Scooters we want to demonstrate the benefits of riding and the positive contributions it can make to the lives of young people in our community. Community interest is at the heart of what we do, and we strive towards creating a positive, fun and safe experience for young people”.
Over the two days we had lots of young people attended and enjoyed the fun that was provided in Cambourne we had over 50 young people attend and there was always a busy buzz in the air across the session and in Wisbech there were 20 young people enjoying the fun and games. So over the two days we made a small impact to 70 young people and their families. Because the events were so successful we hope to work with Future Scooters more over the summer holidays.
