Everybody Can Fish is a not-for-profit community group that run small group angling sessions around Cambridgeshire where you can learn a new skill while enjoying spending time outdoors in nature.
In June their lead coach, John Pope was nominated and received The High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire Award, from the Sheriff himself – in recognition of outstanding service through their dedication and commitment.
Everybody Can Fish is an Approved Partner for Get Fishing for Wellbeing with the Angling Trust meaning that healthcare providers can prescribe sessions to people who are experiencing health and wellbeing issues:

Fishing is an activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, including those with disabilities.
Everybody Can Fish has recently also been part of a programme called “Reel Education” , a free resource available to primary schools throughout the UK.
Everybody Can Fish can be booked to come into a primary school and will provide all learning materials for the day, including lesson plans, activities and exercises in Science, Maths, and Art. As well as in-class activities, Angling Trust coaches will provide P.E style fishing and environmental activities that will inspire and generate interest in the outdoors and the environment.

All staff and volunteers at Everybody Can Fish are First Aid Trained and DBS checked, and they have safeguarding policies in place. Coaches have completed qualifications in Youth Mental Health.
