EmployAbility Leisure Is Launched

EmployAbility Leisure is the disability leisure workforce arm of Aspire the national spinal injuries charity. The Employability Leisure Guides are an evidence-based resource to create more accessible and inclusive training and workplaces for disabled people in the fitness and leisure sector. The guides are available for free, and can be instantly downloaded including more information from the InstructAbility website

There are three guides to select from to gain valuable tips and advice depending on who you are. 

Are you a disabled person or someone who supports or advises disabled people? 
You can download free EmployAbility Leisure Guide A about training and working in the leisure sector. The Guide tells you about courses, qualifications and job roles and how to ensure training and jobs are accessible to you. 

The hope is the Guide will encourage more disabled people to work in the fitness and leisure sector. It is available in all accessible formats. Download EmployAbility Leisure Guide A 

Are you a leisure sector training provider or awarding organisation? 
You can download free EmployAbility Leisure Guide B about training disabled learners. The Guide provides information on how to attract disabled people to sector training and how to provide support and adaptations to make courses accessible and inclusive. Download EmployAbility Leisure Guide B
