Disability Active Lifestyle Framework

Over the past year, we have continued to lead the creation of a Disability Active Lifestyle Framework for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough in partnership with representatives from Headway, Sense, Disability Peterborough, Cambridgeshire FA and individuals with experience in developing physical activity for the disability community. Disability and inclusion work continues to be a priority for us across everything we do and we hope this framework will support and improve physical activity across the county to become more equitable and inclusive.

Once this framework has been published, we encourage partners to consider how they can implement the framework to make a real change for disabled people to access physical activity, sport, and leisure in the way they want, when they want, with no barriers placed on them by society.
